equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Sunday School At the Branch

Sunday School at Olive Branch Community Church serves a broad

range of ages and needs. Serving the spiritual needs of a diverse

and growing congregation is a challenge that Olive Branch seeks to

meet through a variety of classes and activities. At each age

level, opportunities for Bible Study, spiritual growth and

fellowship are offered. Individuals are invited to explore the

intersection between faith and everyday life. Each class is designed

to provide age-appropriate, meaningful and challenging study, good

fellowship, ministry opportunities and church involvement.

Children in our Preschool Class are given loving care and attention

so that their earliest experiences and memories of church are positive,

safe and happy. They are taught Bible stories and introduced to ideas

about God, themselves, the world around them and relationships with

each other using developmentally appropriate methods.

Elementary-school children are taught Bible skills so that they can

better apply Biblical principles to their daily lives. Our families are not

from the same neighborhoods, therefore getting together each Sunday

is a special time of fellowshipping. Getting to know one another and

sharing the weeks experience is a priority for Sunday school for our

elementary age children.

Youth and Young Adults are challenged to explore all kinds of life

issues in light of Scripture and to begin to think for themselves about

God and faith. Teachers provide a variety of challenging study

opportunities and topics designed to address the real life and faith

needs of youth in today's difficult world.

The Adult Class is a growing, lively diverse group of men and women that is

not afraid to laugh, cry and pray for one another. The class follows the Echoes

Curriculum based lessons, which are facilitated each Sunday of the month by

a rotating group of five adults. The facilitators bring variety and spice to the

biblical principles encouraging members to seek to understand God and God's

purpose for their lives through the study of His Word.
